What does it represent?

The circle itself represents God and eternity.  Him encircling us, surrounding and covering us without beginning or end.

The green color represents growth hope and life

The mountains represents Haïti.  Haïti actually “means mountains beyond mountains” and mountains are the view/landscape behind our land.

The sun peeking out represents the SON, our source of light, power, strength, warmth, growth, and hope.

Below the mountains can have several meanings.  

Running water … a source of cleansing, refreshment, purification, and movement.  

The sea (Haïti is a part of the island Hispanola)… limitless, vast, mysterious, strength, salty (we are the salt of the earth.)

Rows of crops.  While we have perfect rows in the US because of modern day equipment, but in Haiti everything is hand plowed.  The land is bumpy with the rocks and constant retilling.  Crops represents growth, life, and nourishment.
